Your Questions Answered
Where are you located?
We are located in Wexford, PA. Our address is 10994 Perry Highway, Wexford, PA 15090. We're conveniently located for families in Wexford, Pine Township, Cranberry Township, Mars, and the surrounding North Hills Pittsburgh area.
What types of classes do you offer?
We offer a comprehensive range of dance classes for ages 2.5-18, including Ballet, Jazz, Tap, Hip Hop, Contemporary, Lyrical, Musical Theatre, and Acrodance. From our Tiny Tots program to advanced Pointe classes, we have something for every dancer! If you have any questions regarding where your child should be placed, please contact us at (724) 933-5437.
What should my dancer wear?
We have a detailed dress code page that breaks down exactly what your dancer needs for each age group and class type. Generally, younger dancers need a leotard, tights, and appropriate shoes, while requirements become more specific as dancers advance. Don't worry - we're happy to help you figure out what you need!
How long do classes last?
Most classes are 30-45 minutes long, which is perfect for keeping young dancers engaged and focused. Our preschool and kindergarten combo classes meet once a week for an hour. The best part? Your dancer can take as many classes as they would like throughout the week!
Are there recitals at the end of the year?
Yes! We are proud to offer a full recital at the end of every dance year. Our recitals generally span over 2 days with multiple shows, giving every family the chance to see their dancer shine. We also offer a recital booklet so that your dancer can be featured, as well as flower purchases, dance medals, and awards for perfect attendance. It's such a wonderful celebration of all their hard work!
Is there an economical way to keep my dancer in shoes?
We completely understand that dance shoes can be a big expense, especially with how quickly our children grow! At Studio V Dance, we offer a used dance shoe program for our students. Current Studio V Dance dancers have the option to consign their shoes they no longer need or donate them to the studio. We offer these shoes to Studio V Dance students only in an effort to recycle shoes and keep costs low. It's a great way for our dance families to support each other!
